Tried on tap at the Australian Beer Festival in the Rocks 07.
Cloudy yellow gold colour, with a decent rocky white head. Excellent lacing. Very nice looking beer.
Slight heavy sweet banana phenols on the nose. Lots of sweetness. It's pretty pleasant, but could use a sharper character there to balance it.
Smooth and sweet on the palate too, but with a bit of phenolic harshness on the aftertaste. Still, it's pretty clean and very drinkable. Mouthfeel is smooth and clean.
This is a pretty nice beer - Schwartz seem to fly under the radar a bit, but this and their pils are both very decent brews.
