Poured at Market CrossPub on cask. Also on draft.
Appearance: Pours a murky golden dandelion. Beautiful rings of lacing present. Lacing has staying power.
Smell: pine and hops present. I had it on cask so some sweet malt presence as well. Not very potent on the nose.
Taste: On cask has a decent balance. Pine, hops, sweet malts. There is balance but no element really presents itself as dominant. A little to smooth?? Some alcohol in the finish. Also a little watery.
Mouthfeel: smooth and silky over the palate. Very drinkable.
Overall: I am a real fan of getting any beer on cask. Although I think in this case the cask edition really dulls this ale. Still this beer has a real smoothness that's kea it extremely drinkable.
