Lots of the typical German esters, heavy on the cloves. Cloudy pale amber in the tall Faust Weizen glass. Lots of yeast floating around. Rather tart, makes for a refreshing example of the style. Plenty of flavor, with a good dose of malt, but the acidity keeps the beer well balanced.
Excellent summer quaff. Rich flavors but a light mouthfeel. Touch of spicy bitterness in the finish. I look forward to another visit to Pueblo to taste the other beers, but not in July.
