This one pours a semi-hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like spicy orange peel, citrus, clove, black tea, and crackery malt.

This is an interesting little beer. The orange peel gives this a spicy but citrusy flavor, along with a touch of crackery malt, a touch of something vaguely herbal, clove, and a tea-like bitterness.

This is light bodied, clean, and very drinkable.

I really enjoy this one – the fruit addition is subtle enough and plays well against the rustic citrusy character of this beer.

a light and floral pale ale brewed with sun dried orange peel. the first beer i have had or even seen or heard about from these guys in ages, and its really really good. its pale and just a little hazy in the glass, lightly orange hued, and carbonated like champagne, a high and airy pure white head rises up and stays there in the glass from the tap. aroma is cut fresh flowers and sweet orange, not quite candied, and there is some obvious hop bitterness there to balance that, but a fresh and concentrated citrus profile, notes of elderflower and bee balm, and a soft tea element, all of which translates perfectly to the flavor. so much character here, delicate and flavorful, carbonated like made, this really sings and dances on the palate, and i find myself drinking my glass way too quickly. a very nuanced and professional beer, a cool recipe and a neat showcase of the orange in here. i wish we got more italian beers like this one out here in colorado, i know they arent huge sellers, but nobody around here is making anything close to this good in this mellow extra pale ale type style right now. i should have had ten of these...
