Black, with brown edges. Brown head, beautiful and creamy. And long standing.
In the smell a lot of maltiness, intense and pleasant. Notes of liquorice, and some other spices (not present).
Biscuity maltiness in the taste, predominant but not cloying at all. Full taste, with again liquorice and pepper.
A good hop bitterness in the back, balancing with a bit of citrussy the strong maltiness.
A good round body, and again maltiness and biscuit in the aftertaste, with a finishing hop that makes this beer really drinkable.
