Product of Almond'22 for Verrigni
Beer poured from bottle into a Snifter shaped glass
A - Beer poured with a crisp golden body; well carbonated; one finger white colored head head formed, rocky; held well; cloudy body; looks solid and well made
S - Honey; barely; sweet and touch of yeast; bread malt back-end; slight citrus nose of orange; light spice notes
T - Honey taste provides a nice smooth touch that washes over all the other flavor characteristics in the beer; fruity yeast flavor; slight bread or biscuit malt flavor comes up on the back-end and is immediately followed up with more honey; orange; slight spicy flavoring
M - Lingering honey flavor; sweet; medium body build; smooth; not much bitterness to this IPA (low IBU's I'm guessing), especially with all the honey
D - Good honey taste and hints of citrus compliment this beer's flavor profile; great collaboration brew with Verrigni; Almond'22 should make more of these types of beers with pasta producers; must have been fun the day they tasted the beer with Verrigni before release, I wish I was there!
