The big brick exterior and the interior look pretty much the same as it did when it was the last brewpub. When I walked in all the waiters had on tuxedos without the jackets and long black aprons. I was worried they would ask me to leave for not having a suit jacket on but they were friendly. As you walk in the front doors there is a big stainless tank one floor below.
The bar is off to the right and it has dark wood and red walls. Most of the people around me were drinking Stella or MGD from bottles or martinis. Very few were drinking beers brewed on site and I can understand why. I liked the light lager the best out of all their beers, and I was surprised by some of the flavors that they had in their beers. The Saison (SAY-zon as they kept over enunciating) had big flavors of bubblegum and cloves like a weizen and the imperial stout was on nitro that drained most of the flavor.
The staff was friendly but they were talking about a contest that night to pick the Brockway Chophouse girl. I don't know if this involved swimsuits or evening gown competitions but I thought it was very odd for a high end steak house. The beers weren't that exciting and I don't think I would need to go back for food.
