At only 4%, I thought this might've turned out like a really lame cream ale, so I didn't order it. Fortunately, my mother-in-law did, and she hated it (too hoppy).
A: Gold with a white head, no retention, but leaves a slight lacing.
S: Spicy, grassy hop aroma. Not at all what you'd expect, but quite nice.
T: Spicy, grassy hops with an assertive bitterness, hint of cotton-candy fruity esters, slight caramel. Given its weight, I'm seriously impressed with the flavour. Bonus points for doing this warm-lager fermentation right.
M: Moderate body & carbonation; crisp, dry finish.
D: Very drinkable (for a beer advocate).
