Pint consumed on nitro at the Porterhouse Pub in Mount Vernon, Washington for $4. I'm classifying it as a dry stout because it strongly reminded me of Guinness. I have no idea of the actual availability, but since I can find no mention of it online, I'm assuming it's a rotating release, or perhaps a one-off.

Good looking beer. Very dark brown color with a big foam head somewhere between off-white and tan. Lots of lace.

The nose was mildly bitter, with coffee tones and with sweet chocolaty notes. Very similar to Guinness.

The taste likewise reminded me of Guinness. This seemed like a well-crafted clone. Mild, unobtrusive bitterness matched with an evenly meek sweetness.

The mouthfeel was actually better than Guinness, which has come to seem overly watery to me. This was a medium bodied beer that had a coating, slightly sticky mouthfeel.

One of the better brewpub Guinness clones I've tried. Not overly exciting, but easy on the palate. I could drink several of these if nothing more interesting beckoned.
