Served in straight pint glass. Poured a a clean, clear light amber color (more like the color of a nice Vienna lager) with a half inch of just off-white head that had OK retention and very light lacing.
The aroma was mildly sweet malts with just enough gentle hops in the background to provide contrast and balance. The flavors were pretty similar, mostly earthy malts and the hops had a pleasantly bitter finish that lingered nicely.
The body was pleasantly full and smooth, it coated the tongue nicely without being sticky or heavy. Drinkability was very good, the pint went down almost too easily. Overall, a pleasant take on the O-fest/Marzen style. Worth trying if you see it.
