Well balanced Imperial IPA. Wood and citrus flavor with a nice bitter hop finish.

Released with a limited set of brews in the Nov/Dec 2009 time frame. Was able to taste this at a sponsored event but unable to get a hold of it after that date.
I enjoyed this even more than the morning wood IPA. Hops are abundant and the flavor is fresh, smooth, very drinkable. There are sweet notes as well that make the beer more drinkable than a more traditional bitter imperial IPA. Seems like double or triple the amount of hops of the morning wood, and they are absolutely fresh.
