The appearance has a dark brown body, two finger white foamy head slowly dies leaving a decent amount of spider web foamy lacing. The smell has a rich yet roasty nuttiness with some pecans showing up a bit, backed up sweetly by some chocolate and still slightly balanced by a nice coffee note. The taste is mainly sweet but gives a decent roasty tone to the flavoring, slight nutty aftertaste, no finish. The palate is about a light to medium, and sessionable. Carbonation is good for the style and for me, leaves a slight creamy sort of feel. Overall, this is a good English Brown Ale that I could have again if I could get it.

A good solid brown ale. The added pecans are noticeable but adds to the beer.

I had this in a pint glass.
The color was a dark brown color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. Light lacing coated the sides of the glass.
The smell was a whole lot of nuttiness with a sweet caramel and brown sugar going on.
The taste was exceptionally sweet with the previously noted aspects combining.
The mouthfeel was nutty smooth with a noticeable chocolate trying to coat my tongue.
Overall, I say this was a great English Brown Ale that I would have again.
