A nice pilsner, it came out with a very good straw color and a bit of head, with nice lacing. It had a crisp, malty scent to it, pleasing, but nothing out of the ordinary. Very nice pils taste, clean and crisp, and slightly sweet. It goes down smoothly, and could be a nice yard work beer.

Served in a pint glass, which irked me. If you're going to go to the trouble of brewing a style that has its own glass type named after it, use the right glass.
Appearance looked more like a pale hefe than a pilsner. No head whatsoever, a tad dark for a pilsner, and CLOUDY. Pilsners are supposed to be clear. I have no problem with most beers being cloudy, but not with a pilsner.
Aroma was nice and floral, with a hint of maltiness. No problems here.
Taste was underwhelming. Not as crisp as you expect from the style. Some very subtle maltiness, nice hop bitterness. But not very "clean."
Mouthfeel was medium-light. Carbonation was way too low.
This is the first beer from the BRBP that I wouldn't get again. It was a disappointment.
My impression is that they brewed it to please the macro-drinkers that may frequent the place, but they really aren't set up to do a quality lager, especially one that's supposed to be brilliantly clear. It really pains me to give this a negative review, because the BRBP is my favorite establishment in the city. It still is, but I won't be getting this beer again. If you're looking for something light and refreshing, get a pint of their Lawnmower.
