Appearance: Pours with a 3/8 inch off white head. The beer itself is a ligth copper color.
Smell: Strong butterscotch like diacetyl aromas. Slightly sweet malt.
Taste: Once again, the buteerscotch flavor, mixed with caramelized malt. A slight bitter finish.
Mouthfeel: Average level of carbonation. Decent body.
Drinkability: Not too bad. I had this side by side with the 07 and definitely like the 07 more. Just like any barleywine, the high ABV could limit how many of these you have in a row.
