Review from my backlog, circa July 2010. This brew was made for Indiana Beer Week, apparently.

A - It pours a deep brown hue, still translucent, but mostly black. The head is small and short-lived.

S - I am getting some slightly sweet malt and some really mild hops, too. The aroma is very mellow.

T - It tastes good, though quite mild. The lightly sweet malt shows traces of caramel and roasted chestnut, and the hop is surprisingly assertive in its relative bitter astringency. Overall, this beer has an exceptionally understated character.

M - Lighter in body, and surprisingly refreshing.

D - I could put down 10 or more of these, or fill a boot. Easy drinking stuff.
