Winterfest 2011's replicale, based off the old Ackerman's Brewery in New Albany (and given out by New Albanian).
Pours a wonderfully deep black with nice head and good lacing. Huge deep scent, wonderfully sweet and dark with a great roastiness and coffeeness. Huge deep roasted malt flavor, with a nice slight hop bitterness at the end, and a wee bit of fig and licorice in the taste. Goes down remarkably well for a high abv brew.
