poured cold and black from the tap to a standard english pint with next to no head and a nice bit of lace to begin.
very subtle aroma of piney hops - but hey wait, maybe it's a bit more floral. either which way it's subtle and it's hops.
very flavorful floral hops way up in the front. subtly bitter, but not overwhelmingly so. roasty malts, and extremely subtle chocolate / coffee way way back. it's hoppy and that's what it's about.
light bodied, subtle bitter.
drinkable - yep.

A-Very dark amber in color, clear but not impressive. Poured with 1/2" of head however the actual froth seemed thin and more porous than expected.
S-Powerful floral aroma, one can even smell it's bitterness.
T-The heavy floral bitterness nearly overpowers the coffee and chocolate undertones.
M-Thin at first but the finish was thick and settled on the back of your tongue.
D-Not an easy drink, something to enjoy slowly. I can appreciate the craftsmanship however, something I would not choose over the brewery's other beers.

Pours a decently dark brown with very nice head and good lacing. Nice deep scent with good sweet-bitter hops and a nice semi-roasted aroma. Excellent citrus and floral hops over a slightly subdued sweet malt and bit roasty grains. Goes down very smoothly.
