On draft at brewery, 02/11/08.
Nice amber color, plentiful carbonation.
No aroma from small taster sample.
Flavor so light it's almost not there. Trace of sweet malt (and corn) at the start with a slightly hoppy, barely bitter aftertaste. Huh.
Unremarkable mouthfeel.
Boring.

Poured a good deep red color with a decent amount of head and lacing. Very clear. No complaints about the appearance. The smell was typical of of a red ale, didn't seem to have a lot of complexity in the grain bill. Only malt came out in the aroma. If I had to guess I'd say that theres only 1 or 2 kinds of grain in the beer aside from the regular 2 row american.
The taste was also typical of a red ale, that is it was sweet and dry with a fair amount of bitterness. No hop flavor present. The aftertaste was also bitter and dry. It had light/medium body and was drinkable, if you're into red ales. Sorta middle of the line.
