On tap Aug. 15 2008 @ Hop Cat BA / Brewery Grand Opening event - Brewed at Sherwood by German brewer Michael Plank (http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/5943)
A nice deep roasty chocolate brown shade with a hint of caramel - looks nice
smells of very light hop/malts, smooth chocolate, smells excellent
taste is of full rich chocolate, almost tootsie roll-esque, deep chocolate malt, nice hops hidden in the back, lightly sweet, great balance!
mouthfeel is of crisp carbonation, light body, loads of nice dark flavor, an excellent schwarzbier
