Reviewed on 6/21/2010. On tap at the brewpub. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of smoked, roasted malt and bitter chocolate. Flavor of tons of bitter chocolate, smoked malt, roasted sweet malt with faint pumpernickel spices (which took a backseat to the chocolatey notes). Very tasty and drinkable. A very impressive offering from Sherwood Brewery.
