I am trying this beer off the tapper at The brewery as part of a six sample flight. It poured a slightly hazy golden with thin white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had bitter columbus hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bitter hop presence from start to finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Just about on par with the lawnmower IPA, this one seems to be the bridge gap between the Lawnmower and mistress Jade. This one has a heavier citrus tone to my palate, given the lemony feel to it with kind of a wit feel. Piney is the malt profile and the Columbus hops are worth a revisit which are rarely seen.

Transparent golden amber with a small white sticky head. Lightly carbonated. Lots of Columbus hops (hence the name) give it a resiny and piney hop aroma. I also pick up some floral notes as well. Bitter and somewhat balanced with the malt backbone. Leaves the mouth dry. Mouthfeel is light and as I said before lightly carbonated. Overall, I love Columbus hops so this is my go to when I come here. I would like to see it slightly more carbonated. Otherwise, this is a good ol' fashioned American IPA.
