Naked City is a new brewpub in Seattle that doesn't have it's brewery quite operational yet, so Lazy Boy from Everett is brewing their beers until the kettles get fired up. This Dubbel is from the only keg to get out of Seattle and served at the Green Frog Cafe in Bellingham.

Poured into a tulip, this beer is an attractive Amber/Ruby color with more than an inch of medium tan head that dissipated quickly leaving minimal lacing. The aromas are typical for the style, but slightly muted. The flavors are also typical with the sharp yeast flavor most noticeable to me.

The body is good, not quite full, but well-rounded and tastily tongue coating. Very drinkable, several of these can go down easily so have your transportation arranged.

A really nice beer.
