Polished copper in brilliant clarity with an eclipsed white head. Has a smart, compact flavor of bread crust malts and noble hop character with an abstract doughy aroma. Very easy on the senses. Clean enough to drink mindlessly with sustained pleasure with just enough spiced intrigue to give you pause for thought. I wish every pilsner was at least this good.

Served in clear plastic Safeco Field cup at Mariners home opener on 4/12/10 (M's lost to the A's, 4-0 BTW). The beer poured a honey gold color with a thin cap of head that had no retention but some lacing.

The aroma was sweet and grainy. The flavor was much the same, sweeter than most, if not all, other pilsners I've had. This seemed to be a Vienna Pilsener more than a Czech style to me. The beer did taste good, and I enjoyed everything but the price ($8.75, a pint).

The body was nicely full, but not heavy, and coated the tongue pleasantly. Drinkability was very good, I will certainly have this beer again. Overall, a good beer that's worth a shot when you see it.
