Very bitter both from hops and a heavy amount of oatmeal. Impressive in that regard, not so much in all others.
Pours a thin, dark brown, utterly translucent mahogany with redish hues and a thin off white head. Lots of carbonation. Served too cold.
Aroma is bitter coffee, oats, and hints of chocolate. Very much on the light side.
Tastes bland and very light. Some coffee flavor and a lot of bitterness but not much else.
Mouthfeel is light, bitter, and spritzy.
Drinkability is high on ease but low on excitement.
Seems lacking in ingredients but without any negative flavors.
