Watermelon Kiwi Sour

Clear pale amber color. Poured a medium head that dropped down to a patchy skiff in less than two minutes. Low flow of tiny bubbles from the bottom of the glass. Left no lacing.

Light sweet smell, but smells artificial - a little like some soft plastic. Mild sour funk. Faint generic apple juice smell. There is something else that smells a bit artificial, but I can't tell what it reminds me of. Swirling the glass kicked up a light horseblanket for a few seconds followed by a light lime citrus.

Mild, generic tart with a bit of sweet to offset it. Very light yeast flavor. Vague apple/lime juice flavor. Chewing it makes a light melon flavor pop out. Light bitters. The aftertaste is a bit more bitter with mild lime and some generic fruit.

Light tongue tingling. Quickly turned into a large bubbled foam. A bit thick and oily. Mildly astringent.

One of the 4 beers in the "Juice Box Sour Mixer". I could not taste any kiwi. There was something that was like a melon, but I could not taste anything specific to watermelon. If you stirred in 3 or 4 spoonfuls of sugar, this could have been mistaken for a flavored vodka cooler. Not very beer like. Uninspired meh. This would be one of the last cans pulled out of a cooler at the beach.
