Poured from a 12oz bottle procured from Merchant's in Dearborn.

Into my weizen glass a light coppery color with just a little bit of haziness. Has a decent 1/2 inch head with a bit of retention throughout the glass. Nose was quite nice, hints of spice and banana, light on the clove. Taste was very smooth, all of the stylistic elements were there, quite refreshing. Seemed a bit disjointed somehow though, like the flavors weren't totally meshing with one another as I'd like. A very strong American Hefe however and much better than a lot of examples I've tried, I'll definatly pick this up again, solid.

Poured in a long slender hefe weizen glass. Looks a brilliant golden color with a slight tinge of orange and a chill haze. The head is soft as can be with a three finger head often at the top of the glass. The head looks nice combined with being served in an attractive glass and the golden color. The taste is very good with a yeasty taste that is crisp and refreshing. It goes well with the Michigan cherry salad with citrus dressing. This is currently my favorite local hefe. The only thing it doesn't have is the banana aftertaste. They don't bottle so get it on tap only.

Note: They have now started bottling but it doesn't hold a candle to the on tap version.
