Poured from an undated 12oz into a pint glass.
Dark amber with a light tan head that falls to a thin veil rather quickly. The carbonation is very active as the head hisses rather loudly until it fell.
Smells almost like Bell's Amber. Sweet malts with an nice hop finish, yet a bit yeasty throughout.
The malts taste a bit more roasted than they smell, a bit of a chocolate/cocoa note. Ample bite from the hops leads into a dry finish. Mouthfeel is a bit on the light side with the carbonation leaving my tongue a bit more tingled than I normally like.
An easy drinker, I could have a few more.
