My favorite from Tawandang. Overall a very easy to drink Thai style Hefeweizen.

On-draught @ the brewpub in Bangkok for 140 baht.
Lookwise, it's the usual haziness one would expect in any beer in this style, but it's a brighter yellow instead of the classic orange usually seen.
Heavy on the banana esters, which I guess caters to local tastes. Light refreshing wheat makes up the malt backbone. Soft.
Those more inclined towards orange peel forward expressions of the style will need to look elsewhere. There's no spicy clove character here, either.
It's refreshing and drinkable. Easily better than this brewery's often better regarded dunkel, but far from excellent compared to traditional German expressions if the style. Still, it may be one of the best beers brewed in Thailand even if it leaves something to be desired in terms of balance, depth of flavour, and complexity.
Well worth trying when craving a more flavourful beer than the usual Thai fare. I'd have another, even if it's average at best.
