Despite the darkness of the brewery, the beer is fully yellow in colour with white foam, but not particularly compact and resistant.
The first thing that you feel is a base of malt, followed by a good bitter hops very noticeable. Even at the level of flavour it trace the aroma: a good malt and a touch of hops interesting and pretty nippy. All in all, the same notes are felt in the aftertaste too, even if herein is an inkling of citric previously not present. At the end this is a quite good Hell, with a decent smell and taste. It's a pity for the appearance and that hint of citric in the aftertaste.

Had on 6/1/08 at the Brauhaus.

Appearance was very hazy and unfiltered with a light apple-juice and straw like color with a huge fluffy eggwhite like head that froths in clumps.

Smelled of active yeast, grain, citrus, with strong hints of metal.

You could easily taste the alcohol because of the fair malt profile. This also makes it taste a little bit astringent in the aftertaste because you don't have a strong flavor coming from a specific direction except the alcohol. Taste very light otherwise, a lot like wheat. I did enjoy the "fresh" character of the beer that they market so strongly. In the background there was a distinct creamy backbone, a lot like what you find in some American beers.

Mouthfeel was very watery, which made it very drinkable but slightly boring in the end.
