Hand-pulled pint in the excellent 'Cock Hotel' Wellington, Shropshire on 21 Dec 2012.
As the name suggests the beer is a golden coloured beer, clear and bright: on top a well formed foaming head of white bubbles.
Mixed fruit aroma: semi-citrus with sweeter orchard smells coming through as well.
The taste is also semi-citrus with a mini-bitterness throughout the mouthfeel. You'd never guess it carried 5% ABV within its thin looking body: if it had some depth of colour I'd really like it, but Gold is the colour around these parts at the moment, so that is what's brewed.
