Pours a translucent copper with a soapy slick and a cluster of bubbles. Nose expresses just a kiss of smoke, some caramel malt and skunk, as well as some noble hops at the back and light, fruity esters that come out as the brew warms. Taste reveals smoked ham at first, but there is also a light caramel sweetness, followed by a skunky quality. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body with a very mild carbonation. Overall, a bit dull for a smoked beer. The smoke is a bit subdued and the caramel/skunk is a bit too apparent. Not worth seeking out.
