Appearance – Clear golden straw like with a thin, bubbly white head that is rather soapy. Lacing turns patchy after a few seconds and retains this patchy cover throughout but does not providing any lacing in the glad.
Smell – Sweet with some light malts and a little bread in the front. There is some honey too and a faint, freshly cut grass aroma with some citrus lurking in the background along with some hints of grain.
Taste – Similar to the nose. Sweet with some honey and basic fruits. There was some dough and biscuit as well along with some faint citrus and grassy or lightly hops. The overall taste to be honest was distinctly average.
Mouth feel – Again this one is rather sweet with some noticeable grain and a small citrus tang on top of soft carbonation with a medium body sound enough balance.
Overall – An average balanced beer with a poor mouth feel and disappointing flavour.

Pours a clear yellow golden with white head. Cereal grains on the nose; follows onto the palate. Light bodied, euro style ale. Finishes clean. Solid blonde.

500ml Bottle from SuperValu, Ireland (£2.39):
Clear golden to straw with a thin, bubbly white head that is more soapy lacing that turns patchy after a few seconds.
Sweet with some light malts and a little bread. There is some honey too and a faint, freshly cut grass aroma with some citrus in the background along with some hints of grain.
Sweet with some honey and basic fruits plus a few lighter malts. I could detect some dough and biscuit as well along with some faint citrus and grassy hops. The taste was an average one to be honest.
Again sweet with some noticeable grain and a small citrus tang on top of soft carbonation with a medium body and good balance, although the drink did seem a touch flat in places.
An average beer from the start whilst remaining drinkable if not all that enjoyable. IT had a good balance between flavours although to be honest these flavours were fairly basic and one-dimensional.

Irish oddity brought back by my parents, thanks. It was decent but just OK, like most blonde ales.
Beer is blonde and clear with a thin white head of medium bubbles, no lacing, minimal carbonation and retention.
Aroma is weak, a little grainy a little sweet. It is OK.
Beer is nice in the body, light but not dry, mildly bitter, a decent finish, no aftertaste, I don't think I'd have it again but it is probably good enough to drink more than one.

On draft at The Hairy Lemon
Served in a tall namesake pint glass
A: Medium hayish yellow. Half (frothy white) fingernail head.
S: Cracked hay, soft spice, some yeast, and honey sweetness. Nice!
T: Floral notes mixed with honey and wheat. Soft white pepper spice and hint of yeast. Good, but could be a bit more crisp.
M: Medium bodied with appropriate carbonation.
O: Refreshing and enjoyable. Could stand to be a bit more "wheatie" for a proper blonder, but still quite good.

Dull yellow with stiff meringue carpet. Lemon furniture polish and grain husk nose.
Dough and sweet grainy malts with straw and citrus hops. Zesty finish and a dry linger. Light to medium, creamy, round, crisp.
2nd tasting: Table water crackers and lemon rind up front with surprisingly floral hop finish; crisp yet round. Easy to like.
Pretty much what a blonde should be, without really being distinctive. Still, doesn't cloy and isn't thin, so no complaints. Very drinkable.

500ml bottle, consumed Mar 2011, BBE Feb 2012.
A - Very pale gold body with loose-bubbled head that dissipates fairly quickly, leaving thin lacing and a bit of cover.
S - Light aromas of fruit and malt with a tiny bit of hop.
T - Similar to the aroma, mild taste of some fruit and malts with a bit of hop bitterness for balance.
M - Light body, moderate zingy carbonation, smooth finish.
O - Not bad by any means, though a little too mild all round for my personal taste. Probably one for a hot summer day session drink.

500ml bottle bought from GapWines, Belfast...
Poured a washed out golden copper colour. White head poured loose and frothy with big bubbles then faded quickly to thick edging. No carbonation bubbles at all... some random patchy lacing...
Aroma - Spicy and slightly tropical fruits (pears, some pineapples, apricots), freshly cut wet grass, peppery notes, strong floral honey sweetness, sea salt, some graininess, vanilla, lightly toasted bread, faint rubberiness, some buttery traces...
Taste - Quite nice juicy fruits (pears, apples, apricot and lemon) mixed with good floral honey sweetness, light grassy and peppery hop bitterness, light biscuit malt notes, some almond nuttiness, salty traces...
Feel - Very smooth as there is barely any carbonation at all... light bodied... pretty refreshing and pleasant enough on a hot sunny day...
Overall - A pretty run of the mill blonde ale... could definitely do with a bit more carbonation... worth a try though...

On cask at the Molly's Yard brewpub and bistro
Pours with a light lemon yellow body. Tight white head forms, some thin particles of sediment floating around. Little bit of bubbly lacing too
Smell, english malts, some slight vegetal aroma too. Little bit of fresh hops on the nose, slightly musty on the finish
Taste, smooth and crisp malt. Some balanced bitterness, possibly fuggles or goldings, slightly greasy residue left on the palette
All in all a pretty solid and drinkable ale
