Frederiksberg 18/3 2015. 33 cl can at Friends house. As "Harboe Dansk Classic". Red label with corn ears and the name of the beer in bold white letters.
Pours light golden brown with a white head. Vanishes almost immediately. No lacing.
Aroma is malty and sweetish. Pale malts and bread. A bit of caramel.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture
Flavor is sweet with a little caramel. Rather odd aftertaste of roasted cardboard.
Another unpleasant installment in Harboes "Dansk" series.

330 ml can, as Harboe Classic, from BilkaToGo, Skalborg. ABV is 4.6%. Golden colour, much paler than expected. Moderate white head. Very moderate aroma, some sweetish malts, a hint of fish(!). Weak and bland flavour, a little malts, minimal hops. Not undrinkable though.

I have found this beer to be the best Harboes Bryggeri A/S beer so far. Most of their beers are inexpensive and lack flavor. This beer,l however, is good enough. It has a medium body and moderately smooth mouthfeel. It is descent served warm and is easy to drink fast while eating a meal, but would probably be a sipper on its own.
Overall, this is an average lager and is worth the price.

Appearance: deep gold, great clarity, thinnish layer of foam that disappears within the first minute
Aroma: grainy malt, hint of tartness, herbally delicate hops (chamomile)
Flavor: mild malty sweetness at first then a breath of that delicate herbally hop flavor, a little bit fruity in the background, finishes dryish with an aftertaste of grain, pretty clean
Mouthfeel: medium body, terse carbonation, soft texture
Other comments: A nice clean lager. Definitely more flavorful and aromatic than Carlsberg or Tuborg.
