The colour is pale amber-gold, the low airy head is white; no lacing.
The smell is fresh with dry malt with a roasted touch. There are also some fruity notes and a hint of a clean bitterness.
The taste is at first quite powerful for a Eurolager; but the slightly roasted malt soon becomes hollow; there is no body underneath. The taste develops into a mild sweetness, some bitterness and a hoppy flavour that I hadnt foreseen. The aftertaste is malty, balanced with a somewhat metallic bitter finish.
The mouthfeel is inviting, the fluid is not heavy, nor waterish. The carbonation is a bit milder than in most lagers with lots of small bubbles.
A very nice surprise indeed, I didnt expect a low budget supermarket in-house lager to be this tasty and gulpable.
