Brewed by Harboe for the Danish/Swedish supermarket chain Netto.
The colour is medium gold; the finger thick head is white and compact. It sinks down quickly leaving no lacing.
The smell is very sweet with notes of sweeteners and honey, damp barley and some odd notes of pulp. Neither hops nor bitterness here.
Sweet, simple malt dominates the mild taste. Artificial sweeteners and honey flavours are blended with some minerals and chemical notes of wet paper. The aftertaste adds more of the sweet wet paper flavour. Luckily, it fades quickly.
The carbonation and the bubbles are all average for the style.
It would be easy to blame the low alcoholic content, but during the last week I have had several fine 3.5% beers. This is just a boring beer.
