Copenhagen 30/6 2022. 33 cl can from Rema1000, Frederiksborgvej, Kbh. NV. The can is in sixties retro-style in black and green pattern and the strange tag-line “brewed to collect”.
Pours clear amber with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin, flimsy, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a sharp scent of citrus. Sweet pale malts, bread and sour grains. Citrus concentrate.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger, rough bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Finish is semi-dry.
A bit rough and sharp and not something I would collect. But it is actually better than I dared to expect.

330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. Also bought in Denmark. ABV is 5.6%. Deep golden to amber colour, moderate white head. Dull aroma of grain, dust, stale jam and a little caramel. The flavour is slightly citric, moderate notes of grain and caramel, with a metallic bitterness in the finish. Won't buy again.
