750 ml bottle, no date on it that I saw but I'm pretty sure it was just released a few weeks ago. Served in a snifter, the beer pours a hazy reddish/brown color with about an inch light tan head that stuck around for a while. There's also a lot of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like bourbon, vanilla, nutmeg, ginger, and raisins. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's the addition of some bready/grainy malt and caramel flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's syrupy and slick with a good amount of carbonation. I thought it was a good overall brew. Not heavily spiced, but still enough to know that you're drinking a winter warmer. And there's enough bourbon barrel character to make it interesting. Not sure if I should have aged this longer, but I think it's drinking good right now. Worth a try for sure! $14.99 a bottle.
