On draught at the brewpub. This beer is a lightly hazed yellow-gold color with a medium thin and fizzy head that dissipates steadily. Rings of lacing. Aroma of citrus and spicy hops. Medium-bodied with a hoppy (Saaz) character, along with spice and fruit flavors. The finish is long and bitter with a lingering hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Rich golden in color. Yellowy white head thick and creamy with great length and retention. Thick sticky lacing left behind.
Yeasty bready aromas laced with toffee and tidbits of caramel. A slight floral hop aroma. Not much else is a little fuller than what you would expect from a pils.
Well I think this is a solid brew. Very round and meaty. Nice bitterness on the finish and long as well. Mid palate is thick and chewy toffe malt and cereal grain. A slight slight hint of lemon. Rich and creamy. Again nice floral bitterness really stands up to the malt blast.

The Imperial Pilsner was one of their specials. It was served in a standard pint (I would have preferred a pilsner glass). The beer is bright gold with a bone white head.
The nose was of light grains and peppery hops. A little to light for an Imperial
Unfortunately it is also light in taste. A tiny bit of hops overlaid with some grassy tastes. The beer needs more hops and malts. Balanced but bland.
The sparkling carbonation adds to a pleasantly solid mouth making this the best part of the beer. Drinkability is no more than average due to the unassertive taste. Back to the drawing boards for this one.
