Poured clear brown color with an average fizzy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate toasted malt aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium toasted balanced flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a friend.

Poured from the tap into a standard pint glass.
Appearance- Beer pours a clear darkened golden with a slim head that quickly dissipates to a murk across the top. Head leaves a little to be desired, but still OK in appearance.
Smell- Fruity and malty at the same time. Very fruity. A slight hop presence, base malts, noble hopping, and sweet smelling.
Taste- Very floral, almost lavender in flavor with a hoppy backbone. Malts are quick to follow. Highly attenuated to be sure. Complex and moderately smooth. Fruitier than necessary, minerally. Slight bourbon barrel flavor very similar to that imperial porter they brewed, but I know for a fact that their tap lines are clean.
Mouthfeel- Lightly bittered, medium bodied, smooth I suppose, not astringent, fruity, flavorful, and medium high in carbonation.
Drinkability- Smooth and drinkable, one of the better Elevator seasonal offerings. I hope to see more close style examples with the Oktoberfest next month.
