I had this on tap at Elevator; it was one of their monthly series of beers for "MBA" members. I was disappointed; there really wasn't anything "over the top" about this beer. In a world chock-full of great IPAs, there is little reason to seek out this one.
Color was a dark-straw golden, with a pretty decent head and lacing. Aroma was fairly citrus-y hop, some maltiness. Flavor was some nice hoppiness that was not quite pungent enough for my tastes, some weak biscuity maltiness, with a pretty watery mouthfeel kind of diluting the mouthfeel.
I've certainly had far worse IPAs, but with so many terrific choices in hoppy beers, I'm not sure why you would choose this one. Not bad, but not really recommended.
