Petrovac 7/8 2015. 2 L plastic bottle from local market Voli. It's my impression that this beer is only sold in this very charming size of bottle. Outfitted with the usual shields and lions.
Pours clear golden yellow with a very small white head. Bubbly. Dissipates immediately. No lacing.
Aroma is malts and grains - fairly sweetish. Pale sweet malts, bread and cardboard.
Medium strong carbonation. It loses some of the fizziness as you work your way through the gargantuan bottle. Thin, watery and lively texture.
Flavor is sweetish malts with a mild medium strong bitterness lingering in the aftertaste. Quite bland to be honest - but not sour like many Balkan beers.
Fine thirst quencher - and there is some thirst to quench when it is 35 degrees outside.

Decent lager in the thrifty two litre plastic jug, popular with fishermen along the Danube River.
Light amber color. Beery with a hint of hop aroma like a cheap Mexican beer. But better, and surprisingly bitter aftertaste. Salty and the sweetish malt flavors of the better class of malt liquor. Refreshing tang and quite drinkable. Bottle dated 18/06/10.
Maybe need a new brewery entry to distinguish these recent mergers. Label says "United Breweries of Serbia," which is clarified by Wikipedia: "In October 2008, Heineken's Braurei MB (Novi Sad facilities) merged with Efes Srbija (had two breweries: Pančevo and Zaječar) to establish a new entity - Ujedinjene srpske pivare (United Breweries of Serbia)."
