Dark brown to black in color with minimal head pores into a challis
Smell of mild balsamic vinegar, and malt
Taste is well balanced. Easy and smooth. Taste of leather and mild fruit.
Medium bodied mouth feel
Overall a great and unique beer. It was shared among 3 friends and all enjoyed it.

750ml bottle. Dated May 10th, 2014 from lot 43, 2012. $2
Looks finely reddish brown, hazy to cloudy. Good head of foam.
Smells bitter, fruit tarty, a little bit of the sweet. Overall, kinda nasty.
Tastes worse than it smells. The tart fruit comes across as spoiled, the bitterness acentuates the ill feeling that I have for what it does to my palate. A few sweet notes here and there.
Mouthfeel is okay.
I paid $2 and feel overcharged.

Poured with a nice half inch head which dissipated quickly. Nice light flavor but lacked the complexity and flavor profile of a Belgian-style. Drinkable and inoffensive but for the price I was hoping for more.
