Pours a cloudy colour of rust with a great head of foam. I figured that since it was an extremely slow gusher.
The nose is fruity with apple, evidence of mild tartness, flowery and to me, has a mint presence.
Apple and some tartness up front, followed by an assertive Brett character. Again, mint and an abundance of bitterness.
Medium body with champagne like carbonation.
Good points, bad points. The sharpness and uber dryness make it not overly drinkable.

Pours copper in the glass.
Nose is lemony and biscuity though quite mild.
Well-balanced palate, though not a lot going on.
Quite easy to drink and 6.5% alcohol is well hidden. Much less overtly bitter than other beers from L'Olmaia. But not something I will dream about.

This brew pours a very murky dark gold color. It has a thin head and is somewhat over carbonated. The smell is quite fruity...lots of apple and under-ripe peach. There's a little citrus and some funky yeast in the aroma too. The taste is much more tart than expected, and the beer is really quite dry. The fruit notes continue throughout the beer. The carbonation gives the beer a sharp characteristic. It's alright, but not incredibly satisfying.
