Decent, roasty yet lightweight black ale. The beer camouflages the fairly sturdy 8.7% abv, but ultimately the Saint Arnould beers I've tried tend to be very mild, and middle of the road.

Bottle: Poured a deep black color ale with a large dark color foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma consists of deep dry roasted malt with some dusty earthy hops also noticeable. Taste is dominated by some harsh dry roasted malt with some dry and also astringent dusty earthy hops. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. This beer is way too dry with some off tasting hops is not going to win me over.
