A - Poured into a pint glass a slightly hazy golden orange colour with an inch of fluffy white head.
S - Light fruity notes with some slightly sweet maltiness.
T - Similar to the smell but there is also a slight tartness that is a bit off putting.
M - Light to medium bodied, fairly high carbonation.
D - OK but nothing to get too excited about.

Poured into a tall pilsener glass.
Attractive, cloudy amber orange. The head is white and heavy frothy. Patchy lacework forms, with the late-poured yeast sediment forming a high tideline as the beer disappears.
Rich aromas of toast, marmalade/jam, stonefruit.
Well balanced flavours...crystal malts, fruity hop flavours, medium bitterness.
Creamy mouthfeel...
This is an excellent beer.... it has more body than other Aussie Pales.... more like Cooper's Red than Green, for example. Yet it is not cloying, with the fruit finish and medium bitterness balancing the malt body & sweetness perfectly.
I bought a carton of this... you beauty... One of the finest Aussie beers I've had in a long time.

Quite a cloudy beer Deep gold witha frothy lacing head.Has a few floaties in amongst the plentiful bubbles.
A malty tinge to the bouquet.
It tasted sour and sharp with some clove and peppery spice, which would appear to be the developing Australian Pale style.
It is crisp and clean and a real palate cleanser.
It is very much like Coopers Sparkling which has already been noted by others and I cant say it is a style I really look for.
However recommended best on a stinking hot day

I found it hard to classify this new beer to one style. It's definitely along the lines of most Aussie pale ales, trying to come up with something resembling American style pale, but had all the subtlety of it's English cousins.

Fantastic color, bold, lightish amber, also looked a little cloudy, but was actually my frosty glass in the end. Plenty of carbonation working its way up in streams from the bottom of my glass.

The nose is of fruity character, with some malt tones hiding in the background, along with some spicy hints from the hops. Early on in the piece the beer can taste a little metallic, especially if following other hoppy beers. In any case this quickly subsides to reveal a subtle, crisp and refreshing brew. Has the flavors of stone fruits up front, some caramel malt elements behind it, and finishes with a very fresh, clean and palate cleansing hop bitterness that is quite sensational.

My favorite thing about this brew is the balance. It could try to be very moreish, like most pale ales in this country do, leaving a bit lacking in the drinkability stakes. This beer had plenty of character and flavor, and wasn't so intense that you couldn't drink it all day/night long. I sensed a leaf had been taken from the English school of pale ales, where less is usually more, and subtlety is the key.

All in all an impressive first up effort from the Emerald Hill boys. I shall look forward to them turning their hand to some other styles, hopefully sooner rather than later.
