May 7th, 2015 - Stone's cliche is anything but, marked by curious aromas and flavors. At first it smells like a crisp and clean pilsener, with an underlying sweetness. A couple of loud smacks and some deep meditation and I think I suss out white grape juice and a little sake and earth funkiness. The taste also starts with a clear and straightforward crispness characteristic of pilsener, and a dry aftertaste that tickles the throat, like a beer pellegrino. After a few sips I find it just a touch too dry, but by then the beer is mostly consumed anyway.

Pours a bright yellow good with a good white head which leaves impressive lacing for s blonde ale. Aroma and flavors are subtle and delicate: slightly sweet white bread malts, floral/slightly piney hops. It's not as good as, say, Firestone 805. I was almost scared off ordering it by the previous reviewer but took a chance and was pleasantly surprised. If you need something quaffable and quality, this is a nice option.

Had on draft at Stone Store Pasadena.
Appearance: Looks super clear thin yellow piss like in appearance, no lacing, no head, any foam is bright white but goes quick.
Smell: Doesn't smell like much, some slight lemony hop notes, barely if any.
Taste: Taste's like a light pilsner lager, very muted, low bitterness, very clean malt background, not much flavor. Best match I can come up with is a hybrid between Firestone Walker Pivo Pils (not sure why it's so popular) and Budweiser.
Mouthfeel: Thin, lack of body makes it highly chuggable.
Overall...not impressed. Does Greg know about this? He might never take a vacation again if he found out. Never thought I'd see a beer this poor out of Stone...in fact this is the anti-Stone beer..too bad it wasn't April Fools Day when it came out.
