Sampled this at the main bistro in Escondido - 4oz. from the cask into a tulip sampler glass.
A - radiant yellow-orange; pale honey. About a finger of light bone-white head.
S - very heady perfume, sweetness from the honey balanced against the hops. Orange citrus, pine, potpourri.
T - surprisingly mild, especially following the aroma. Good body from the cask, but the flavors are muted by the hops.
M - slightly watery, but not cloying or slick. Light carbonation.
O - An interesting take on their IPA, and fun out of the cask, but not something to rave about. No regrets on sampling, though.
