On tap at the Stone Company Store in Pasadena, CA.
Pours a hazy yellow with a foamy beige head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of grain, jalapeno, and jalapeno juice aromas. Taste is much the same with grain, cucumber, and jalapeno flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a cucumber presence that is only noticeable in the taste, and jalapeno characteristics that add aroma and flavor but no chile heat.
Serving type: on tap.
