on tap at the Twisted Oak.
Pours a yellowish orange. Clean looking beer with a foamy white head.
vanilla smell predominates.
taste has more of the lemon than the smell, but the vanilla is still strong.
pretty clean beer, interesting.

A dramatic improvement over the standard Go To. At first, it smelled like standard Go To, but let it warm and the vanilla comes to life. Taste is very lemony, which really tones down the bitter finish. Mild vanilla on the back end. Overall, real good beer, bringing Go To to a new level.

On tap at the Stone Company Store in Pasadena, CA.
Pours a clear gold with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of herbal hop, citrus zest, lemon frosting, and vanilla bean aromas. Taste is much the same with lemon zest, earth, and slight vanilla flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop and earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with interesting lemon and vanilla aspects that work better together in the smell to me.
Serving type: on tap.
