Had on Cask at Pour House in Westmont, New Jersey.
Has a weird, grassy, green taste that reminds me of a homebrewed IPA that has not been allowed to sit long enough to permit the flavors to blend. There are some notes of spice in this beer that suggest rye was used, but that can be entirely from the hops/ hibiscus.
Lack of carbonation was to be expected, due to being on cask, but it still had a nice bite/ pop in the mouth with a short, foamy head. Wish this were served to me colder, but the cask was room temperature, and the room was warm.
